Our Spring 2025 Adult book will be available February 3. We selected Agatha Christie’s The Body in the Library.
It’s seven in the morning. The Bantrys wake to find the body of a young woman in their library. She is wearing evening dress and heavy make-up, which is now smeared across her cheeks. But who is she? How did she get there? And what is the connection with another dead girl, whose charred remains are later discovered in an abandoned quarry? The respectable Bantrys invite Miss Marple to solve the mystery… before tongues start to wag.
The events that we have selected for this book are:
Friday, Feb. 21 – Miss Marple Movie Night – 6 pm at the Iola Public Library
Come watch a Miss Marple Mystery Movie. We will have refreshments and prizes.
Saturday, March 1 – Murder Mystery Evening – 6 pm at the Iola Public Library
Come to the Iola Library and enjoy soups, desserts and a Mystery Theater! Tickets can be picked up at the Iola Public Library. Prices are $3 each or 2 for $5
