Iola Reads announces the 2023 Young Adult Selection of Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein. Copies of the book are FREE and available in tubs throughout town and here at the Library to take, read, and share. If you’d like to keep a copy, the Library will accept your $2 donation.

We have permission to show Nickelodeon’s movie Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library at the Library (218 E. Madison) on Saturday, November 4 at 2 pm. Bring a blanket and pillow and claim your spot on the floor. We will have refreshments and PRIZES to give away.
The Iola Public Library is hosting Mr. Lemoncello’s Library Maze on Friday, October 27 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm for ages 0-12. We invite the little ones to come dressed up and enjoy a fun maze through the library stacks.
Chris Grabenstein will meet virtually with students from USD 257 in November. The Iola Middle School will meet him on Nov. 1 and the Elementary School on Nov. 9.

Chris Grabenstein has over 3,000,000 books in print! According to his official bio:
CHRIS GRABENSTEIN is the multiple award-winning, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the LEMONCELLO, WONDERLAND, HAUNTED MYSTERY, SMARTEST KID, and DOG SQUAD series. He co-authored the acclaimed SHINE! with his wife J.J.
